Missing Period

I am on the pill and have been for quite a few years. For some reason when it was time in my cycle to have my period after taking the sugar pill nothing came for the entire week. This has happened 2 months in a row and have taken pregnancy tests each month that come up negative. Any ideas why this is happening??
