How many of you have/had a hard time testing your own sugar levels? How many of you were completely in able to? I took my 3 hour fasting glucose test yesterday and the results came back abnormal and they told me I have gestational diabetes and are requiring me to test my sugar 4 times a day for the next 2 weeks (maybe even longer not sure yet). I was just wondering has anyone been unable to do it because of a fear or needles or anything? I hate needles, and I'm having a hard time with the idea of stabbing myself 4 times a day... I have serious anxiety of having to get stuck with a needle, and there is only one lab tech at my hospital I go to who I'm not afraid to have stick me because she is that good. What have you ladies don't to psych yourselves out?
