Rock and play

With our daughter we had a bassenet for her beside our bed but found that she slept better in her swing, our son is due in march and i keep debating if i wannaget the rock and play sleeper for him to sleep before he moves into his ceib or if i should also get a bassenet for his, we already have a swing but dont wanna constantly move that from room to room, have any of u ladies let u baby sleep in a rock and play sleeper or a swing?
