The day before surgery?

Question

So i have to go in on thursday before my c section on friday.
What should i expect?
I know they have to do blood work and urine tests, also watch a video.
How long do you fast before surgery?
I have to go in at 6 am on friday just in case an opening comes up, which i doubt their will be a opening...
But my c section is scheduled for 3:45pm on Friday.

I'm getting my c-section on Friday too! My surgery is scheduled for 8 am and I have to fast starting at midnight so that's 8 hours before the surgery. I have to go in for my pre-op on Thursday and I'm not sure exactly what that entails either. I think it's just vitals and a blood draw.

The day before my c section, which was almost 6 years ago ,I went in on wensday had one final ultra sound, and they told me not to eat after midnight, Thursday at 5 am went to hospital and got hooked up to iv and a monitor. Then 11.45 am went in and had baby.no blood work .no videos nothing .
