Nuvaring

So I just switched from the pill to the Nuvaring, I'm just a little nervous about toxic shock syndrome even though it's not super common apparently. I just feel weird knowing there's something sitting inside of me for a long time when I'm used to making sure to take like a tampon out after a few hours just incase. Should I worry or just watch and see what happens? Any comments or good/bad things about the Nuvaring??
