Pregnancy Scare🤔

Right so I slept with a guy a few weeks back and still haven't come on my period. We used no contraception, so I'm a bit worried!! My period was due over a week ago now, and I did do a pregnancy test about 5 days after I had sex, which did come back negative however a few people have told me this was too soon to receive an accurate answer.
