Mild cramping with twins?!?!?!

I'm 7+1 with twins and I've been having some mild cramping today? should I be worried or is a little cramping normal in early twin pregnancy, I'm trying to reassure myself so I'm not stressing as won't help 😣 I had a scan at 6+2 and confirmed twin pregnancy and 2 good heartbeats

Sometimes it wakes me up at night. I'm 11weeks 1day. I see an OB and a perinatalologist and they've already done 5 scans because I was so certain the cramping was something bad. They said it's just my uterus stretching double time. Swimming helps me a TON!

I actually read a post on here about twins that was on my homepage and it said cramping was normal with twins because you have twice as many babies in there crowding up the area or something like that. I have been cramping since the beginning off and on and dr said it was normal just to let them know if I had any spotting.

Cramping is completely normal for any pregnancy. It's your uterus expanding.

I am over 6w going on my seventh. I asked my doc that & they said it was normal. Because my uterus is growing for the twins. I have it almost every day & it doesnt hurt just its noticed.

Mild cramping during first trimester is common as your uterus is expanding. If it's with bleeding/spotting, then it's something to be reported to your doctor.

I had mild cramping my whole 1st trimester. My sister in law also had cramping her whole 1st trimester with all 4 of her singleton babies. It's very common.

I had this at 7-8 weeks which lead me to having an early scan, everything was fine with the twins. The cramping is just the uterus adjusting, I had a tiny bit of dark spotting too with the cramping which is also normal so the hospital said so I wouldn't worry too much 🙂
