Were you ever bullied?

Were you bullied in school when you were younger? If so what were you bullied for and how did you overcome it?

I was bullied by my best friend all through elementary and middle school. She was the type to act like my friend at home (we were neighbors) but at school, she made fun of me, put me down, had other classmates running away from me on the playground. She would lie in wait for the right opportunity to embarrass me in front of others. Just a typical mean girl. I guess it doesn't sound like much, but I honestly think it laid the groundwork for my acceptance of poor treatment and emotional abuse later in life.

I was bullied after a new girl moved onto my street. All my friends became her friends an anytime I would want to play outside I was always being bullied by all the kids I was once friends with. Then into my middle school years I became over weight an was always picked on plus I wore glasses.
The worst was I was so over weight that I had what people called "back boobs" 
It always got to me but what ever I did to lose weight it never worked. Believe it or not I never lost weight til after high school.
Now all of us look back on it an they all say sorry for the things they said to me.

I was harshly bullied in school from elementary all the way up till grade 9.

In elementary I was bullied because I had a learning disability and had problems reading and spelling. I had to go to a special school to help over come it I'm still to this day not very strong speller and people still bug me about it. Because of my past owch bullying it really hurts me even though people are turkey trying to help.

In grade 7 I was bullied because I was new no one knew me and I did not belong. Then I got head lice really bad so people started calling me dirty and unclean.
Then some so called friends of mine speed a rumour saying I liked girls so I got yeast for that and people would corner me and beat me up and throw stuff at me.
It go so bad my mom needed to transfer me school because teachers would not get involved and she was very scared for my well being.

Then I transferred schools and was the new girl again so I got picked on for that. Lucky I met some amazing friends who helped me though all the billowing. Then I got yeast by boys for being fat. I was chubby yes but not fat hated that awquard pre teen stage.

I got to high school and thinker out a little bit learned how to do my make up and just found myself had amazing friends. It was hard but I got though it all.

Because I was raped, I didn't deal, I developed agoraphobia stop going to school or leaving the house, I was diagnosed with complex PTSD kids are mean as hell.

Been bullied for my weight i never been very fat just chubby And i Came to England when i was 14 years old without knowing any language. They USed to bully me Because i didnt understand And couldnt speak. Got kicked into my back while walking downstairs from the class got called all the names under the sun. But guess what i  was strong i USed to Come home crying but i never showed them that i care... I hate them i hated high school i cry every time i remember And when i See those people i feel sick

Because I was white, I had an older girl on the bus get physical with me. At the time I was extremely shy, like barely spoke even. It happened numerous time with her so I had to speak to the principal.

Yes I was bullied for being dark, for being big and for having boobs. I honestly just ignored it after awhile and now I have tough skin. Things like that don't bother me.

No, thankfully my school was small and everyone was nice to one another, there were different groups so to say but no one was bullied and everyone acted as friends for the most part.

I got bullied in middle school for being taller than the boys. Then puberty hit them and they grew taller than me and a few tried asking me out in high school. Let's just say it was fun turning them down.

Yes by a girl named Melissa. I follow the sticks n stones may break my bones but words will never hurt me. Went away to college had a blast and left high school in the past.
