Mucus plug @26 weeks

Hi, Im 26weeks pregnant with Twins & I noticed some mucus twice 2day but it's not pinkish it's somewhat clear & slimy like snot & I've been hving the norm braxton hicks as well as alot of painful pressure but I'm assuming from the babies moving & balling up they want me 2 come 2 the hospital 2 get checked out but I'm scared smh I think I might just wait til Friday I hve an appt anyway with my dr...I'm scared..is this normal with TWINS???
