Hello there need help please

My husband and i are trying a baby....during my ovulation week i was using ovulation kit...and the day i got my smile we had a lot of sex to increase our chance of getting pregnant...well my period is 3 days late i took home pregnancy test and it came back negative..i also took test early morning and still nothing...i do have dr apt for blood work...please wish me luck and say a prayer for me..i am also looking for some ladies who tested positive but after more than a week of testing after miss period and what was the outcome...
