Is it too early?

So I took clomid 50mg cd3-7. Currently on cd8. Started opk and temping today. When I took my first opk of the day it said low fertility (which I expected that). However, when I took it again at 7 tonight it said high fertility. Is it possible to have an accurate high fertility reading one day after your clomid completion? If so do we dtd tonight and every other night until cd16 as suggested? I'm so confused because it's been 10 years since I used clomid!
