Implant or Patch?

Question

I'm seventeen years old and have a very irregular menstraution cycle (sometimes 3-6 months apart) My mom and I are looking into birth control to regulate and we have lowered my options down to 2: the implant or the patch. If you could please tell me what you think would be the best for me, or what has worked for you please let me know. My biggest concern is spotting or the patch falling or coming off while sweating or playing sports. Is that a possibility?

Id say the patch, that's what I use,
My period always comes the day I take my patch off during the off week, so I always know just about exactly when I'll be bleeding

The patch is great. Regulates your period if that's what you want. Doesn't come off at all actually, I work out a lot and go to the beach often and so far i haven't had it come off. Good luck hope this helps

Iv had the implant, fairly easy to get and everything was fine for me (even stopped having periods all together) but I gained weight so I had it taken out. 
I wanted to try the patch but for whatever reason I can't find where to get them in England.

The patch or the pill would bebest regulating periods the implant can mess it about. Im on the patch currently its ok but does hurt a little when you take it off!
