Long term relationships : Do you still feel that rush? Excitement?

We've been together 3 years.

And I still get that rush when he kisses me, and love seeing his hand rested on my ass when we lay down lol. I wake up every morning and look at him when he's talking to me, or about to go to the store and I just state and think how did I get so lucky?

Not saying he's prince charming we've definitely had our rough patches. He's just so beautiful, and truly my best friend. Anyone else still feel that STRONG CONNECTION after 2+ years?

Wish there was a in-between option . I/We have moments where we are just a couple , doing regular day things , not really all over each other but we both still love and care for each other . & Some days we have moments where the sex is as crazy as it was when we first met and we are happy as hell & maddly in love & we show it alot , all day . Lol . It all depends . Haha But i have definitly got closer within the time we have been together so even if the "sparks"aren't  as "strong" . The connection is. & thats perfect for me

He is my best friend still after 5 1/2 years (married for 3)! Everyone has tiffs but we respect each other and don't put each other down or cuss or yell at each other. We usually take a few minutes apart if we're upset then work it out like adults!  I've been in a relationship before where my ex would call me names we both yelled and threw things, it was horrible!  But everyone is different too.  But I think respect is a big thing!  We have a beautiful daughter and TTC #2!
