Cannot agree with baby names

Hey everyone, I will be a ftm with a baby boy currently 29w3d. My SO and I cannot agree on a name and sometimes when we talk about it, an argument erupts. I also get backlash from my mother who thinks the baby should have my last name and most importantly an American name. I am Filipino and his family is from Pakistan. He really wants an Arabic name-some I do like but then I have my mother saying differently-then I also obviously think of my baby's future ie how other people could react to his name in school, on paper, and any opportunities he could have/not have solely due to his name. It has been stressing me out since we found out were having a boy at 18w.

Any advice on how to go about this through conversation-SO and mother are both very hard headed. Both seem to forget that I'm the pregnant one and shouldn't be stressed out so much due to then.

Some names I really like but SO does not- Adrian, Cassidy, Carter, Jaxson

Names SO insists on- Amir

Names we both liked in the past but mom hates because she thinks it's not American- Malik

Baby boys last name will probably be hyfenated ending in his last name which starts with an A

Please any help or if you have also gone through similar how was it resolved/end results.

I feel as though I'm the only one who doesn't get a say in my child's name yet I'm the only one putting in all the work.
