Should I tell my mother first?

My mother and I do not speak. She is extremely toxic and allowed a great deal of abuse and stress happen to us as kids. She does drugs and isn't a person I care to associate with on a regular basis. If we happen to attend a family function I will be semi cordial and say hello wtc but that's about it. Should I text her and tell her I'm pregnant before posting on social media? I have 2 children already, she is not in their lives either.

I would text her and say, I'm about to post this online but thought I should tell you first.   And leave it at that. At least youll be the bigger person and she can't get all pissed off at you.

I'm not on food terms with mine.. She's toxic as well... I'm 22 weeks amd she still doesn't know....
