Xanax addiction
I'm just going to come out and say it, my boyfriend is physically dependent on benzodiazepine (from Xanax and such pills) The withdrawal symptoms are heavy and can last up to 2 years. He wants to stop but does not want to try. I know it's his efforts that make the difference, & he told me that me talking to him and me being there and hassling him about it is helpful. I know you all probably think I'm delusional but trust me I'm not. I'm in touch with the reality of things and how difficult the withdrawals will be. Let me just tell you how much potential this (18 year old) kid has:
-His IQ is extremely high
-He scored a 33 on his ACT test (got one wrong on the English portion)
-He has the strongest heart
-This boy was the highest honor of the scouts (Eagle scout, which is really difficult to get)
-This boy cares so much about helping large amounts of people
-He has an extremely intelligent vocabulary, but he hides his potential
ANY ADVICE? anything would be helpful to be honest. Please.
