Stomach flu?

My friend woke up on Sunday with a stomach ache, she had chills, threw up and the runs. She thought it was food poisoning. Her brother texted her last night saying he had the same symptoms but more severe; his girlfriend texted my friend today saying the same thing. They all ate different food but he came to visit over the weekend.
It honestly sounds like the stomach flu to me and it's highly contagious. I normally wouldn't worry but I am 10 weeks pregnant and I'm supposed to see her on my birthday which is next week. She knows I'm pregnant and though she's a good friend I really don't want to see her just in case it is.
What's the most polite way to explain that to her?

Something like that is really hard to run from because it's everywhere. Last year I was pregnant and terrified of getting it also. Someone told me if you drink 4 - 6oz 3 times a day of 100% grape juice you won't get it. I'm very skeptical of things like that but decided to try it anyway. My husband picked the stomach bug up at work and I started drinking grape juice. My son came down with it too but I never got it. I googled it later and even though it is an old wives tale there is definitely some truth to it. The grape juice won't allow the virus to grow in your intestines. So drinking it 3 times a day washes them out. And grape juice is good for you so it wouldn't hurt anything to give it a try. However I wouldn't go overboard as too much can hurt your stomach.

Just tell her that you are afraid she might have the stomach flu and it's extra dangerous to have the flu during pregnancy. Say you hate to cancel plans and schedule a rain check she needs the time to recover and you need to be extra cautious.

She'll be clear by next week. Stomach  flu is only contagious one day prior, and 5 days after. By the time you see her she will be germ free.

The only way to get and pass stomach bugs us by the fecal/oral route. Meaning someone didn't wash their hands after using the bathroom and then touched food or other objects that eventually make it to the mouth. You'll be fine as long as they practice standard hygiene (Washing hands) and you don't touch your mouth without washing your hands.
