Irregular

Just wondering if anyone else has this similar problem. I'm really irregular, I have a long cycle, inbetween periods I go about 41 days & my period only lasts about 3 to 4 days. Every month I seem to be a few days to a week off of when I'm suppose to start. I'm afraid this means I'm not able to get pregnant or will be extremely hard for me to. I bought an ovulation kit because I never know when I'm ovulating. Help!!
