No compliments?

So I've been seeing this guy for about 3 months, but we've only been "serious" for about 3 weeks now. I know it might be a little premature to worry about this, but he's never quite given me a physical compliment... I'm not an attention seeker or trying to fish for compliments , but I do enjoy compliments here and there and he didn't even mention my recent haircut... To some degree I guess it kind of makes me wonder whether he's attracted to me... I'm not sure if I'm being unreasonable or not. Or just getting new relationship jitters? I've never quite been this serious with a guy before... Help?

It could be that, that isn't his love language. We tend to speak in our own love language because most don't know that we all feel love different ways, so we just "speak" in the way we know. Words of affirmation, physical touch, quality time, acts of kindness, and gift giving are the 5 types. Usually you can have a few, but one or two are most dominant. If you are interested you can read the book "The 5 Love Languages" it's been a game changer for my husband and I, but their website also just has a free test you can take to learn what yours is :) I would take the test for fun with him and see what he gets, that would help him see what makes you feel loved and you to see what makes him feel loved! Then just talk about it after and mention that "saying nice things about how you look" makes you feel special! ☺️

I wouldn't stress. I had this problem with my ex but I was with him for nearly 3 years. Some men are just like that. Just tell him and ask why he never compliments you, and say you would like him too compliment you every now and then cause it makes you feel good :)

Tell him you love compliments. As for stuff like noticing a new haircut most men are clueless!
