Can I turn off community?

Is there a way to turn off the community feature? I would rather just use the tracking portion. I realize I don't have to visit but I had originally used the community until I realized how biased the monitoring system is in which posts get deleted or not. So now I get notifications and it shows a red dot on the community button for new posts etc. I would rather just not see any of it. Either that or I will probably just delete my account.
