I had 2 bfn 2 weeks before af was due. Then a when i was a week late i took a clear blue and it was positive.

I had 2 negatives 3 days before my period, then when AF didn't arrive the day is was supposed to, I took a test that night and had a positive :) 
Hcg levels go up quite quickly :)
