It dawned on me today that it has been almost seven years between my first pregnancy and this one. For my daughter we pulled out all the stop's on the baby gear because we saw it as an investment for future children as well. As our daughter outgrew stuff we packed it away.

After a few years and couple chemical pregnancies we decided to sell all of it when we were downsizing to prepare for our move from Illinois to Maui. We had come to terms we may never have an other biological child and were looking in to foster to adopt when suddenly we find ourselves pregnant after 5+ years of ttc.

We have settled in quite happily after three years on Maui but cost of living is high so budgets are tight and space is at a premium. I remember having things I never used with my daughter and thinking how wasteful it was.
