When to take the pill

Question

Is it wise to take the pill after your first poo of the day? I've read that sometimes the effects of the pill don't work if you take it before, especially if you have loose bowels

Answer

You should take your pill at the same time every day. Unless you're having a lot of completely liquid diarrhea it won't affect the pill's effectiveness. If you do its best to just use condoms until you've stopped having diarrhea for a week or so, you don't need to change your pill taking behavior.
