Still significant pain

In 2 days I'll be 4 weeks out from my c-section. I'm still having quite a bit of pain but only on one side of the incision. On the outside the scar looks great, it's not swollen or red. The doc closed the skin with glue and disolvable stitches inside. It appears there is an end of a stitch sticking out thru the skin but it has been there from right after the surgery. The pain and everything had been getting better but once the baby came home a week ago and the getting up and down on the couch while holding the baby seems to be the worst. Any tips/should I go back to the doctor?
