8 weeks 3 days since last period... No heartbeat

Went to the Dr. Today. Internal ultrasound showed the baby measuring only 6 weeks 1 day and no heart beat. I know for certain the first day of my last period. Was told to be worried and to come back in a week. Fifty percent chance I could have miscarriage although no symptoms. Anyone else have this? So worried.
