No period.

So my husband and I have been trying to conceive for 11 months now, and nothing. But I also haven't had a period in 13 months. At first I was still ovulating but then that stopped too. Just recently (like last week) I have been spotting, not anything major, but just enough to mess up a pair of panties, and I don't know why. My doctor told me I might have pcos but she doesn't want to do any testing saying that it will go away on its own, and my husband has a low sperm count so it's going to be hard to conceive anyway but we have faith. I just need some advice.
