Weird smell during sex

I was on top and could smell something, it was definitely my vagina. I smelled it last night when we had sex too, I was on top. I was cd 10 and 11. Could this be smells left over from my period? I don't have weird discharge, itching or burning. It wasn't fishy but wasn't a pleasant smell either.
