Has anyone ever had their baby in another state not planned??

If so what was your experience like? Did your insurance give you a hard time? I've seen a lot of babies being born weeks before due date and I'm wondering how it will all happen if I go into labor on my baby moon.

My doctor said I could fly until 36 weeks so I have a business trip across the country at 34 1/2 weeks! I called the concierge at my hotel to ask for the closest emergency medical facility and then checked that they were covered by my insurance.

I might be giving birth in Florida rather than in Maryland. I'm worried how my insurance would handle it

Insurance will go state to state...i began my pregnancy care in indiana but my insurance is from ohio.

My doctor would not let me travel after 31 weeks as a standard precaution even long distance car trips. Make sure your babymoon is early enough. I'd check with your doctor.
