Sorry kind of rant but also looking for advise... My daughter is almost 8 months and started going through a more clingy mommy phase lately. I find it very frustrating when family members or friends that don't regularly visit or see my child feel the need to make comments in a negative manner that my daughter prefers me over them. Uh duh I am her mother! Back story I am work from home mom so I'm with her 24/7 but I take her on play dates and to visit friends/ family to help socialize her but I don't think it means Im bad mom because my baby doesn't want to be held right away by someone that's still basically a stranger to her. My mil is the most guilty of this. Although in 8 months she's only seen my baby 5x for like 20mins. Its like I'm sorry if you want her to know you I guess you should come around more!! She does fine with my hubby, parents, & closest friends that she sees frequently. How do you handle this...
