Heavy Period after BC Pills

Hi. I recently finished my last pack of birth control pills in January. AF came and lasted for over two weeks. Then 32 days of nothing and AF came again. I'm now on 4 days of heavy heavy bleeding. I never had any problems with AF being long or heavy before BC. I've been on BC for 10 years. I know it can take time for things to regulate. Just wondering what other people's experiences are. I'm also turning 28 in a few weeks. Hubby and I aren't actively TTC yet. But would be happy if it happens. Thank you.
