I know people think it's a general rule of thumb to wait until 12 weeks before announcing your pregnancy... But have has anyone announced early?

I told my parents and a small handful of my closest friends as soon as I had a positive test (or 8)... I feel like if I have a miscarriage, I will need the emotional support they would provide.

I'll be at 10 weeks on Easter, and since my whole extended family will be around, I may just tell everyone.

I think our society makes women feel ashamed of miscarrying, when it should be met with support and sympathy. It's terrifying to think of it as a possibility, but it happens and we shouldn't feel guilty.

Are you all waiting until 12 weeks?
