Baby clothes for hospital?

Question

What all do I need to pack for her for the hospital? I know her coming home outfit, which I am planning on something comfy but girly cute. But should I pack a fancy dress for pictures in the hospital or would just a cute onsie outfit be okay for pictures? What has everyone else done or plan on doing? And how many outfits should I pack? FTM due at the end of April and pretty clueless how everything works. 🙈

Honestly for baby you only need a coming home outfit. They will put your baby in a long sleeved little shirt and diaper the whole time because they are constantly checking vitals etc... For us we didn't use any clothes we brought other than the take home outfit. And for pix, you could bring something but the "naked" ones are the best in my opinion. They wrap be baby in a sheet.

I brought sleepers and a gown. I put the gown on her when some people
Visited. But mostly she stayed in sleepers. And baby t shirts. I always have a onsie or t shirt on her under her clothes.

Not to be the know-it-all (cause I'm sooo not, I'm pregnant with #3) but you're gonna be so tired and overwhelmed, you're not going to want a bunch of extra clothes laying around. A couple cute outfits for pictures is fine but nurses also want to be able to get to the babies quickly for tests.

Pack whatever you want her to wear in pictures..either will work. I just packed two outfits and that was enough 😊

I packed sleepers. She will have her cord clamp on possibly until you are close to being discharged so I'm not sure if you will want to put her In A dress. But you can always bring more and if you don't use it then you don't but you have it if you decide to
