Contact users!!!!! I have been wearing contacts for about a year now and the past month when I take them out my eye gets pretty irritated. It gets a little blurry and goopy. I'm not sure if I should be concerned or now 😁😁 advice or tips?

Your eyes need oxygen so if you've been wearing a pair for too long in one day then they can get red. It could also be because they're dirty/ripped and you need a new pair altogether.

Do you have the two weeks or one a days? Two weeks tend to get dirty and a bit deformed after a while. Make sure you're taking proper care of them, cleaning them before and after you put them on (rubbing from the center, out-- NOT in circles) and make sure your contact lense case is always clean and there's fresh solution in them. Wash your hands before putting in and taking out your contacts. I like one a days a lot more because you get a fresh pair of contacts every day and there's no case or cleaning required. If you have one a days, then maybe it's the brand of something straining your eyes? Talk to your optometrist and see what they say. Good luck!!

Maybe try a new pair of them. If that doesn't help, go to your optometrist. Last time this happened to me, they changed the brand of my contacts and I haven't had a problem since.

You might need to go to a new pair, some your only supposed to wear for 2 weeks. When it gets that way for me I either clean them really good or get a new pair.

You need to give your eyes a break for a few days to let it heal. You can seriously damage your eyes if you do not.
