Shaving

Hey guys I've been shaving down there for quite awhile now, but I always get razor burn and can never get all of the hair without it being prickley when going up. My boyfriend says he doesn't mind it, but I think I would feel better if I was 100% pickle and razor burn free. So, if any of you guys have saving tricks/hacks can you please reply? Thanks in advance
