What to do with mother's ring?

So, just some background - my mom and dad got divorced a looong time ago. My dad cheated on her, took off, and didn't look back. So my mom stored her rings away.

Now she is giving them to me. I think they are pretty, but also not sure what I'm gonna do with them. I am married and have my own rings, but I also feel bad when I think about selling them! Should I save them and give them to future generations? I'm honestly stumped. What would you do?

You could get it made into something else like a necklace or charm for a charm bracelet :)

I would NOT sell them. They obviously still mean something to your mom if she didn't ditch them. She gave them to you. I see it as kind of an heirloom. I'd wear them occasionally or store them. Those are keepsakes.

I'd ether keep them for my kids or grandkids to use, or I would have the rings melted down and made into something new for myself. My mom did that with a couple of rings my grandmother gave her.
