THINX- that underwear that's designed to absorb period blood

Has anyone else tried this underwear? It's designed to be a replacement for tampons/pads. It absorbs the blood, but the top layer stays dry (and is anti microbial) so it just feels like you're wearing regular undies. I just bought the ones that say they hold up to two tapons worth and tried it on a lighter period day. Still not sure if I trust them for a heavy day, but it did actually work really well.
