Joint pain in knuckles?

Is anyone else experiencing pain in their knuckles? My hands have been looking more swollen the past week and it feels like I have arthritis in them. When I wake up I can hardly make a fist and it's become a challenge to even open a bottle of water.

Yep, it's fluid retention in your fingers. I'm almost 38w and it started around my 35th week. It sucks ass and the doctor said it'll go away after the baby comes. Keep stretching and bending your fingers. It gets a lot worse when you're asleep because they're not doing anything.

Yes! I'm so happy someone brought this up. I can't straighten my fingers out totally when I wake up in the morning. They're so stiff.

😢😢 yes it hurts so bad! My fingers and knees feel so arthritic. Nothing helps! Doc said only giving birth will fix it.

Yes. I went to my Chiropracter and as soon as she touched my shoulders/neck area she said ARE YOUR HANDS TINGLING, FALLING ASLEEP OR HURTING? so I was like yes!!! All of the above and they hurt to bend my fingers/knuckles. After that session, it completely went away. I'm seeing her weekly until birth.

YES this is so annoying! Doc says not to worry and it will go away after delivery. I have reumatoid arthritis that runs in my family and was so concerned that's what was going on, but doc reassured me it's a common complaint from fluid retention.

Yeah, I just started a week ago at about 36 weeks. Not fun! But I figured I'm nearing the end, so I can hang in there!

33+5 weeks and I'm feeling the same thing. It feels like arthritis or carpel tunnel. Guess it's one of those weird pregnancy side effects.
