Bled through underwear...miscarriage?

Hi I am (was?) 5 weeks 2 days pregnant, I have had light intermittent cramping for the last week. I just felt something weird so ran to the bathroom and had bled through my panties. It was enough that I put my diva cup in so I wouldn't ruin any more underwear. Is this likely my body aborting? Can you bleed and still be pregnant? How much spotting is normal? :(

Before you tell her it's an early miscarriage shouldn't she go to the doctor?!

My advice would be to seek medical help sweetie. All everyone on here can do is share experiences. The hospitals are the professionals

I would go get checked. You don't want dark heavy bleeding with clots. Only light pink. If it is a miscarriage, I'm so sorry. I have had 2 one when I was 6-8 weeks and last one was 3-5 weeks. If you need to talk or have questions please let me know. Praying for you.

Sounds like a chemical, that happened to me last month.  My bleeding was very heavy (normally never) and I passed a huge clot. It is actually an early miscarriage. Drs won't consider you clinically pregnant until your hcg is 5 and higher and that the sac is clearly visible on ultrasound. It's all confusing, but it is an early miscarriage. Sorry for your loss. I know how it is.
