Belly/back pain

So I'm 30+4 weeks (ftm) and today (on and off) my belly between my belly button and breast has been hurting (kinda a stabbing feeling) and it goes into my back. My little man is active but as a ftm I don't know if this is normal. I have an appointment Tuesday and plan on telling my doc but I wanna know if anyone knows if this is normal? I don't wanna freak out over nothing.
