16 and confused..

I threw up multiple times last night and this morning and my mom got kind of scared and  went out and bought me a test i took it and i saw the line pop up right after the 3 minites but it was so faint that i just couldent really tell.. im scared to ask her about it but thought somebody on her could help. i know they are invalid when you open them but my dog chewed up the plastic the line was there before i opened it . Could it be super faint or an evap line?
