Question: pain instead of orgasm

When my boyfriend & I are hooking up it feels amazing. The build up feels awesome but as soon as I get to the point where I should orgasm I feel pain. I have never orgasmed before. I don't know if it's just sensitivity or mental or what but I can't orgasm. The rest feels incredible but when I peak I only feel pain in the stimulated area
