Cramp remedies?

Does anybody have any idea what to do for bad cramps? My cramps have been bad lately, worse then ever before along with my period, due to new birth control. Midol or pampering don't help me so I thought there might be an alternative more all natural solution. I've heard green tea and I work at a breakfast style restaurant so I've been trying to drink green tea and it helps but not very much at all...
