Any mothers familiar with placenta previa?

I was told today that my placenta is low & in front of my cervix. I'm not overly concerned because I still have time for this to correct itself but would like to hear other experiences.

I had it on my last scan at week 26 my dr isnt much concerned she says mostly it lifts in later weeks she didnt even restrict sex just told us to avoid deep penetration getting another scan this saturday i hope its ok by then i will be 33 weeks

I was told at 10 weeks that I had placenta previa. By my 20th week, my placenta moved, my cervix closed, and all was good. Hope the same happens to you!

I had a complete previa at 18 weeks but by 28 it had corrected itself. Just do everything they say... Take it easy no sex, no strenuous activity!!!!

Yes I was told at 20 weeks.

No sex, but all other activities are fine.

90% of them move to the right place and you'll have another scan to check.

If for whatever reason you bleed, you need to let the hospital know you have this as it can cause quite heavy bleeding.

I've had no bleeding at all, so fingers crossed for you xxx
