Health issues! Help!😳
Hey ladies! So I have a doctors appointment tomorrow but I've been having issues the past couple months and I feel like I keep getting pushed to the side. I have really bad social anxiety too so it's hard for me to get mean and stern with people I don't know.
I'm 27 weeks and 4 days and I have a heart issue. I was diagnosed when I was 14 with svt ( supraventricular tachycardia ) I learned how to manage it without pills or surgery. But now that I'm pregnant it's gotten a lot worse and the e.r. doctors don't think it's svt they think it's sinus tachycardia but can't treat me because they are unsure what I have. The Doctor's Office sent out two referrals already and I've been waiting for two months to get in with no luck. Now things are getting worse. Not only am I having my resting heart rate go up to 180-220 but now my feet if I stand up for to long turn purple and swell, my face is almost always swollen to the point where my eyes feel like they are gonna pop, I can't really take a shower because my heart starts feeling like it's going to come out of my chest and then my legs and feet develop a rash. I've been having a headache for a week now that makes it hard to talk, I'm light sensitive to the point where I want to vomit, I can't drive or hardly walk because I feel like I'm drunk. I've been drinking at least a gallon of water a day and nothing is helping. I'm not over working myself, and I make sure I get plenty of rest.
I'm wondering if anyone else can relate? Should I go to the emergency room? Should I wait for my appointment tomorrow and hope that the cardiologist will see me sooner after I talk agian to my midwife about the same issues?
I'm so tired of running around like a chicken with my head cut off. I don't know if I'm being over dramatic or is this something to be concerned about? Help!
