A week late from prediction.. When to test!!

Soo its official i'm a week late.. But do i test.. or nah. My status says trying to conceive. But i'm really avoiding pregnancy. & a little nervous. But don't wanna get my hopes up. Its bittersweet.. Any suggestions.
