Ointment for diaper rash?

So I'm overwhelmed by different products to use for diaper ointment. Any suggestions?

I use desitin maximum strength. Works like a charm, and I've tried SO MANY diaper rash creams. This one is the best

I don't have first-hand experience, but I keep reading articles on how amazing coconut oil is to treat and prevent diaper rash.

I'm not ashamed to say that with the added weight all over my body I have experienced some chaffing. (I live in florida, its hot and himid here) Which i had never had before. Cocoa butter really didnt provide any relief so I used desitin on myself and immediately felt better. It cleared up over night.

So, I can say that with my own first hand experience it is what I plan to use on my baby.

I love Desitin multi-purpose. It always clears up any hint of redness and it works so well I even use it whenever it get a little bit of razor rash/burn.

My sister recommended getting a couple of different ones, as she found that sometimes one would work better than the other in different situations for whatever reason.  The ones we use in Australia are usually Sudocream and Bepanthen I think.

I've tried desitin and triple paste and some other one and they all worked to a point..but never seemed to clear it up..I used coconut oil with lavender oil! That worked. The doc recommend athletes foot cream and that worked pretty well too!
