Pregnant with fibroids

Hi guys.

I'm going to be a first time mom which both excites and scares me. I'm currently 15 weeks and 6 days, but started having these excruciating cramps on my right abdomen. Went for my monthly gyno appointment, and it turns out that it's round ligament pain coupled with my fibroids. The last couple of days I've been pretty much bed ridden. My concern is that I have a year left of my graduate program and I don't know what to expect regarding the pain.

I just wanted to hear stories from anyone who had fibroids during their pregnancy and kind of get a feeling of what to expect, and any advice on what to do in terms of pain.
