When did your water break?

A lot of us think our waters will break then few minutes or a while later, contractions will begin and we'll start dilating and then have our babies but I've heard a few women's stories where they've gone into labour with just contractions and their waters hadn't yet broken and some had to have them broken at the hospital... So what was your situation mum's?

Water broke at 11:30 am. Contractions started at noon. Got to hospital at 1. My son was born at 3:52 pm that day :)

My waters were broke for me first time to induce labor and then second time 15 minutes before my son was born. That means I did 9hrs of labor without it breaking. I think that the connotation on the water dramatically breaking at random is very Hollywood they have to make it interesting for movies.

My first baby my midwife finally broke my water after 36 hours of contractions.

My most recent baby my water broke at 34 weeks and I didn't have any contractions at all so they had to give me pitocin to get my labor going.

My water broke at 3:45 am, headed over to the hospital. Contractions started picking up within the hour after my water broke. My daughter was born at 6:05pm

My water broke after my membranes got stripped. Then I had to get pitocin because my contractions weren't strong enough and I was strep b positive.
