Any doctors or nurses?

I work so much It's so hard to find time to go to the doctors and my boss is horrible and pretty much won't give me time off to go!
I was there last week because of a chest infection and they gave me antibiotics I was allergic to now I've been taking a new course of antibiotics because they changed them now I have a burning sensation in my stomach, the only time it goes away is for about half an hour after I've eaten but even then I still feel sick ! 
I'm just wondering if it sounds like a side affect of the new course of antibiotics or something worse like a stomach ulcer! 
I'm so worried!

I'm on erythromycin 250mg 
Taking 1 tablet 4 times a day

I'm an RN... My first advice is to go back to your doctor. People typically think of reactions as anaphylaxis, but there are a variety of reactions one can have as an "allergy." While the burning in your stomach may simply be an excess of acid or just minor irritation of the intestinal mucosa, it could be more serious like a allergic reaction. With enough irrigation to that mucosa, it would protienate a gastrointestinal bleed. While you could get Nexium OTC, (what the other commenters mean by Omeprazole. "Nexium" is the trade name) it would be better not to self treat because it could potentially mask the problem. My professional opinion is to find a clinic with an opening or go to the ER, whichever one is more feasible. Also, while I understanding seeking advice on a forum can give you correct information, please be cautious with the actions you take following responses. People mean well but are often uninformed.

Hi there firstly the doctor gave you one course you were allergic too then changed them to a second new antibiotic which is correct proceedure. The burning sensation could mean the antibiotic is irritating the stomach linning its extreamly commen. You need to see a doctor and request a medicationg called omeprazole ( providing youve no allergies etc ) and take this with the antibiotic to protect the linning. Doctor should have ideally prescribed this as a precautionary measure although some doctors dont bother. Sickness is a side effect with most antibiotics and so is general upset stomach. You may go off food and feel like youve got a right off tummy. Eat probiotic yogurt for the entire course plus few weeks after it will also help the tummy. Your boss is being a controlling arse tell him straight your health comes first and if he doesnt allow it then you need to quit and find alternative work because no job is worth your health. Hope this answers your questions. I am not a doctor but have nursing knowledge. What antibiotic and dosage are you on? I can possibly help further if im aware of the names and dosages of the medications in question.

You definitely need to see a doctor. Maybe even ER. Your boss needs to let you off. I'd call out if I was you.
