Soy based formula, anyone recommend? Having formula issues

My 6 week old has been fussy on two formulas the similac gentle ease and similac rice grain one. He does great on my milk but I can't produce enough and was thinking about trying a soy based to see if his tummy doesn't hurt as much and be less gassy.

I just wanted to let you know that we have now switched to Similac Total Comfort. This brand of formula breaks down the proteins in the milk that makes it easier for our babies to digest. It has been a godsend- I promise!  I haven't used mylicon and very little gripe water.

My baby girl had to get switched to Gerber soy formula because she was really gassy and her belly couldn't handle the other formula! She's much better now but is constipated a little bit so doctor told me to put a teaspoon of karo syrup in about 2-3 bottles a day to soften her stool!

My daughter was having serious tummy issues with gerber soothe . Would scream a lot and had serious gas . Come to find out she has a milk allergy . Switched her to gerber soy and she was back to her happy smiley self with the first bottle . It does constipated her though and sometimes her poop is a little formed and the pediatrician told me to mix a half ounce of water and a half ounce of apple juice twice a day . It definitely works she hasn't had a formed stool since starting it .

We put my son on Similac soy after having the same problems. It is really helping now, but for the first few weeks it caused constipation. Our doctor said the soy formulas are known to do that. Now that he has been on it a few weeks (he's 6 weeks old now), he is doing much better.

Just make sure to look at the ingridients. I noticed similac sensitive has a lot of sugar. The first ingridients was corn syrup and sugar

We use gerber soy. It was a night/day transformation. She was always gassy, constipated, fussy, and spit up. On soy, she's pleasant and barely pukes at all. And she can poop on her own now!

My baby was colic. His dr put him on similac alimentum formula. Has helped greatl!

My son is on Enfamil Prosobee for the same reasons. We have also been using Mylicon and Gripe Water. Good luck!
